SATEL Elektrik Makina San. Tic. A.S. started its activities in 1997 in Istanbul with the production of PCB – Printed Electronic Circuits in an area of 500 m2. In later years, we took the representatives of different European companies and attended at technology transfer projects in Turkey. The most important of these are the delivery of channel cleaning vehicles, personnel training and spare parts, maintenance services to ISKI, a company of Istanbul Municipality. Later, we got two different tenders of ISKI’s “wastewater channel cleaning and monitoring work” and “trenchless channel rehabilitation” projects, which we completed with our German partner company Kanal Service Dineiger GmbH.

Together with our partner company APICOM from Italy, we completed the European Union Project with establishment and commissioning of an Automotive R&D Laboratory for Istanbul Technical University (ITU).

In 2006 the company turned into an energy company and took the name SATEL Elektric Generating Co. Our first activities started with planning design of small-scale hydropower plants in Turkey from 2,5 MW to 4 MW. In accordance with the requirements from developing countries, we have increased our focus on the assessment of used gas-fired power plants, coal-fired power plants, biomass, waste fuel plants and oil refineries.
